SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — At community engagement meetings last week, Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District officials further explained their “revised recommendation” on the fate of the Lower Shaker Lake dam.

They cited additional modeling conducted since they reached formal agreements in 2021 with the cities of Shaker Heights and Cleveland Heights, which lease the original parkland owned by the City of Cleveland.
