Residents who complete a short Tree School session qualify to receive a free native tree to plant on their Cleveland property. Participants learn how to choose the right species, prepare their planting site, and care for their tree throughout its early growth.

Training Sessions

Tree School 101 is a brief, hands on workshop offered during our festival and select seasonal dates. After completing the session and registration form, you will be ready to select your tree at pickup.

Tools and Guides

Explore species options, compare tree needs such as soil, sunlight, and space, and review planting timelines so you can give your tree the best chance to thrive. Our guides cover everything from choosing the right location to long term tree care.
