Biography

Mac received their B.S. in Environmental Biology from the University of Dayton. During the course of their degree they acted as a research assistant in the Dr. Prather Insect Ecology Lab working to explore the influence of solar infrastructure on insect communities. Following graduation they acted as a Naturalist in both the Cleveland Metroparks and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and are excited to transfer those skills to better serve those living in and around the Lake Erie Watershed. In their free time they love reading, hiking and spending time with their cat Junie B. Jones.

Streams like Doan Brook survive because people show up.

You don’t need to be an expert, just someone who believes this stream is worth protecting.
