The Snapshots for Science photo station at the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes is the result of a new partnership between the Humanitarian Design Corps (HDC) at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and the Doan Brook Watershed Partnership (DBWP). To use the system, simply scan the QR code at the station, place your phone in the phone holder, and upload your photo!
The goal of the project is to help track restoration sites across the Doan Brook Watershed and get the local community more engaged with the nature that surrounds us. The hope is to install even more of these stations around the watershed and maintain this project long-term in order to analyze the progression of these restoration sites over time. If you have any feedback regarding the project, or just want to reach out, feel free to email snapshots@dbwp.org!
